LARK Live Audio Relay Kiosk

Call the line

One voice at a time

Manifest

Installation

LARK holds one message at a time. Call the line and you will hear the voice of whoever called before you — not a menu, not a greeting, just the last thing someone left here.

You are then invited to record your own. If you commit it, it replaces what you just heard, and becomes the only thing the next caller will find on the line. Nothing accumulates on the relay. The line carries a single voice forward, one caller at a time.

Every committed message is copied to a ledger and archived to an Are.na channel with its duration, origin and hour of arrival. The relay forgets; the ledger does not.
